Purpose of the App
Anchored is a Christian wellness and devotional application designed to support personal reflection, faith-based encouragement, emotional wellness, journaling, and spiritual growth. The app may include devotionals, journaling tools, emotional check-ins, AI-powered reflections, and other features intended to support personal faith and wellness practices.
Anchored is intended for personal use only and is not a substitute for licensed medical care, mental health treatment, pastoral counseling, crisis support, or professional advice.

AI-Generated Content
Anchored may generate reflections, devotional insights, journaling prompts, wellness suggestions, or other responses using artificial intelligence. These outputs are intended for personal reflection, encouragement, and devotional use only.
AI-generated content provided by Anchored does not constitute medical advice, mental health treatment, diagnosis, therapy, legal advice, or licensed spiritual counseling. Users should use personal judgment and seek qualified professional or pastoral support where appropriate.

Subscription Features
Anchored may offer optional premium features through paid subscriptions, including enhanced AI-powered reflections, devotional tools, journaling features, or other premium experiences.
Subscription terms, pricing, billing, renewals, and cancellations are managed through Apple’s App Store and are subject to Apple’s payment and subscription policies.

Voice Features
Anchored may allow users to dictate journal entries, reflections, prayers, or other content using speech recognition features provided by their device.
Anchored does not directly store or process raw voice recordings unless explicitly stated in the app. Speech recognition functionality may be handled by the user’s device operating system or platform services.

User Content
Users are responsible for the content they enter, record, or save within Anchored, including journal entries, prayers, reflections, emotional check-ins, and other personal content.
By using the app, users grant Anchored permission to process this content as needed to provide requested features, including journaling tools, emotional insights, devotional support, and AI-generated responses.
Users retain ownership of the personal content they create within Anchored.

Security Features
Anchored may offer optional security features such as Face ID, Touch ID, passcode protection, or device authentication, depending on device compatibility.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their devices and controlling access to any sensitive content stored within the app.

Information We Do Not Collect
Anchored does not require users to create an in-app profile using personally identifiable information such as a full name or account profile unless explicitly stated.
Most personal journal and devotional content may remain stored locally on the user’s device, except where content is securely transmitted to provide requested features such as AI-generated reflections, devotional responses, or other app functionality initiated by the user.

Acceptable Use
Users agree not to misuse Anchored or interfere with its operation. Anchored may not be used for unlawful, abusive, harmful, threatening, fraudulent, or disruptive purposes.
Users also agree not to use the app in a way that attempts to reverse engineer, exploit, overload, or disrupt the app or its related services.

No Warranty
Anchored is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.

Limitation of Liability
Anchored is not responsible for decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from reliance on devotional reflections, journaling prompts, wellness suggestions, or AI-generated content.
When users request AI-powered reflections, journaling responses, or devotional support, relevant text may be securely transmitted to backend services solely for the purpose of generating and returning the requested response.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Anchored and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to use of the app.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. If we make changes, the updated Terms will be posted within the app or on the app website.
Continued use of Anchored after updated Terms are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
